Excerpt from Code of Alabama (1975), Title 16 - Education
Section 16-51-3. Board of trustees - Created; membership; appointment, terms, expenses, etc.
- There is created a Board of Trustees for the University of 杏吧直播间 Alabama, the state educational institution at Florence, Alabama. The board of trustees shall consist of all of the following:
- Six members who are residents of the fourth and fifth congressional districts, as those districts were constituted on January 1, 2018, at least two of whom shall be residents of the county in which the institution is located.
- Three members from the state at large.
- Two at-large members from within or outside of the state.
- The Governor, who shall be ex officio president of the board.
Board seats are grouped together accordingly to representation area and are assigned “seat numbers” for ease in identification and reference.
