 Welcome to the University of 杏吧直播间 Alabama Faculty Senate webpage.

Thank you for your commitment to the University of 杏吧直播间 Alabama (UNA) and your dedication to student-centric excellence. We are fortunate to have faculty who continually strive to strengthen this University through exemplary teaching, research, and service.

As the Faculty Senate, our charge is “to promote the growth and improvement of higher education at the University of 杏吧直播间 Alabama and in the State of Alabama; to facilitate communication and cooperation among administrative and faculty personnel; and to ensure the continuing development of our educational programs and policies” (Faculty Senate Constitution). Together, the Faculty Senate works with the Staff Senate, the Student Government Association, and the Administration to achieve the overall mission of UNA.

Faculty Senate is an important part of our Shared Governance structure and your involvement is key to success of this institution. It is important for all faculty to be engaged in the decision-making process for Faculty Senate to be truly representative. I encourage you to communicate with your respective department’s senator(s) and Shared Governance Committee representative as we seek various perspectives on campus policies. I am available for any questions or concerns that you or your colleagues may have. Please do not hesitate to contact me at any time.
