Mark Narmore is a songwriter, keyboardist, and singer from Center Star, Alabama. A lifelong Shoals resident, he has always honored and emulated the sounds coming from the world famous Muscle Shoals studios. As a songwriter, Mark’s first national hit recording was “Moon Over Georgia by the Shoals’ own Shenandoah. Mark scored a top five national country hit on Blackhawk with “Like There Ain’t No Yesterday” co-written with UNA alum and music faculty Walt Aldridge. In 2005 Mark co-wrote “That’s What I Love About Sunday”, named the most performed country song of the year according to Billboard. Mark has been honored with a permanent bronze star in the lobby floor of the Alabama Music Hall Of Fame. He has had recent recordings by Josh Turner, Brandy Clark, Reba McEntire, Alabama and the Singing Contractors. Mark is a proud 1988 graduate of UNA, achieving a B.S. degree in Commercial Music. Mark has been a staff songwriter for FAME, Reba’s Starstruck Music, SONY ATV Tree Music, March Music, Jody Williams Music and currently Noble Vision Music Group in Nashville.

Stephanie C. Brown

Stephanie C. Brown graduated from the University of 杏吧直播间 Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Stephanie co-wrote “Burning Bridges” with Garth Brooks, which appeared on his multiplatinum album, Ropin’ the Wind. She is the founder of the Circle of Friends Song Circle and a former writer at FAME studios. Stephanie spent a decade as a songwriter and publisher in Nashville. Currently, she has cuts on albums by BluesCounsel, Sandy Carrol, CoCo O’Conner and Randy Moore.  Stephanie is also a retired UNA English and English as a Second Language Instructor.

Dr. Charles Brooks

Charles Brooks, DMA is a classically trained professional musician, clinician, composer, and college educator. He is the South’s premiere four-mallet vibraphonist actively performing across multiple genres and states and is a five-time Grammy-nominated music and recording educator recognized by international audio component giant K&K Sound. In addition to teaching, composing, performing, recording, mixing, and mastering his own original music, Brooks also live-streams a jazz vibraphone concert series through his website and social media. In July 2021, he released his fourth full-length solo album, which is currently available along with his other albums on his website and most streaming platforms. 

Mr. Alex Wittscheck

Born and raised in Florence, Alabama, Alex Wittscheck developed a love for music in his teenage years. His move from playing music in garage bands in high school to traveling the southeastern United States as the bass player in the regional Christian worship band Hello August gave him opportunities to grow as a musician, learn road management, and hone his skills as an audio engineer.

After graduating from the University of 杏吧直播间 Alabama with a B.S. in Commercial Music, Alex moved on to tour managing artists such as Matthew Mayfield, David Ramirez, firekid and, Grammy Award winner, John Paul White. While not on the road tour managing, Alex filled his time by working as a freelance live audio engineer. Working with Overflo Productions of Florence, Alabama and independently, Alex had the opportunity to engineer shows for St. Paul and The Broken Bones, TI, Dylan LeBlanc, The Secret Sisters and Jason Isbell, among many others. Alex also worked with Armosa Studios for several years on a freelance basis and then as a part of the staff. At Armosa, he handled production management and all of the audio for their videos.

Currently, Alex is fully committed to his job as Lecturer in the Department of Entertainment Industry at his Alma Mater, UNA. In this role, he gets to share his love for live audio with students.  Alex still picks up freelance tour management and audio engineering jobs when time allows. He graduated in 2019 from Southern Utah University with a Masters of Music in Music Technology.

Other than a short stint living in Nashville, Alex has lived in the Shoals area of Alabama his entire life. His extensive traveling across the United States opened his mind to the beauty of his hometown and the people in it. He and his wife have put down roots in the area and are raising their family in the community of their dreams.

Lisa Silver

Lisa Silver is a multi-faceted talent who has been an in-demand Nashville studio musician/vocalist since the early 1970’s. At that time, Lisa was one of very few female instrumentalists working in Nashville recording studios. A native of Detroit, Michigan, Lisa combined her classical training as a violinist at the University of Michigan School of Music and her eclectic musical influences to become an award-winning musician, playing violin and fiddle on television and recordings for Chet Atkins and Ray Stevens. As part of the well-respected studio vocal group, The Cherry Sisters, and in combination with other background singers, Lisa has performed on dozens of television shows and earned over 20 gold and platinum albums for her contributions to thousands of recordings by hundreds of artists including Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Garth Brooks, Johnny Cash, Randy Travis and Vince Gill. You may have also heard Lisa on many commercials for Nestle Crunch, McDonald’s, United Airlines, and Kellogg’s. Lisa’s voice is featured on her original theme song for the cartoon Baby Looney Tunes, and she has done many commercials for radio and tv as a voice-over artist. 

Noted for her singing and fiddle playing, Lisa has also enjoyed a long career as a respected Music City songwriter. She has had over 50 of her original songs recorded by artists including Reba McEntire, Marie Osmond, Alan Jackson, Trisha Yearwood, and Charlie Daniels. Lisa was a recipient of the Songwriter’s Guild Rising Star Award. Her #1 song, “Forty Hour Week,” recorded by the group Alabama, earned her a Grammy nomination.

GMANE is an underground rapper from a small town in the South who owns and operates Alabama Hustle Unlimited. Born Geoffrey Keith Robinson in Florence, Alabama, he made his name with the independent group/label Slave Kamp Music in the 90’s. He subsequently made the jump to Straight Off Da Chain/Select O Hits in early 2000 for the release of the critically acclaimed album “Collector’s Item”. Taking matters into his own hands, he returned to the underground rap scene with his newly formed Alabama Hustle Unlimited in 2003. Newly inspired, he worked to build an audience for himself via the internet and mixtapes.

Thad Saajid

Thad Saajid is a singer-songwriter based out of Florence, Alabama. The former music teacher and church musician creates Alternative R&B and Neo-Soul music, a new wave of the music popularized in his area. Although he has been performing and recording his entire life, his first solo release “The Anti-Social: Eclectic, Part 1” EP was released in 2019. Since the release of his first work he has created three separate small projects and currently in a partnership with Single Lock Records (Florence / New Orleans).
