One-on-One Appointments FAQs

 

While walk-in sessions are offered in the Math Study Center (Tutors located in CPTMTH first floor common area), you can to guarantee an individual session in the Math Learning Center (CPTMTH 376).

To schedule a 30-minute appointment in the MLC, you may use the TutorTrac scheduling system at:  

When you make an appointment with the MLC, you will be able to choose the Mathematics Tutor who is available during the best time for you. You will meet your individual STEM Peer Tutor in the MLC (CPTMTH 376 - third floor in the new Computing and Mathematics Building). 

                                                      

When you arrive for your scheduled individual tutoring session, you will have a 30-minute one-on-one session with a qualified UNA student. So that you will get the most out of your time with your tutor, make sure you arrive prepared with what you need for your session. This includes items such as your textbook and class notes, paper and pencil, and links and login information if your class has them.

                                                            

  

  

  

  

  

During all tutoring sessions, UNA students are expected to behave themselves in a manner conducive to learning and will abide by UNA’s Student Handbook regarding proper behavior in accordance with Title IX. Students should not use vulgar language or gestures, inappropriate proximities, or behavior that would leave other students, faculty, or staff feeling especially uncomfortable. Students may lose their tutoring privileges should any behavior be deemed harmful to the learning environment.
