Profile

Sarah Franklin is a Professor of History, specializing in Latin America, slavery, and gender.  She received her B.A. from Auburn University and her Ph.D. from Florida State University. She is the author of Women and Slavery in Nineteenth-Century Colonial Cuba (Rochester, NY: University of Rochester Press, 2012).  She has been a member of the faculty at UNA since 2010.
