Residential Education Plan

Students will become accountable, responsible, and engaged members of their current and future communities.

As a result of living on campus, our residents will be able to:

  • Identify and utilize campus resources that support academic success, career development, and personal growth.
  • Manage time, coursework, and personal commitments to maintain a balanced and productive college experience.
  • Engage in critical thinking and problem-solving in both academic and real-world contexts.
  • Build relationships with university faculty, staff, and peers through active participation in academic and residential experiences.

As a result of living on campus, our residents will be able to:

  • Collaborate with peers to establish, uphold, and adapt community standards in residential settings.
  • Actively participate in service, leadership, or engagement opportunities within the university or local community.
  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships through effective communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution.
  • Demonstrate self-advocacy by independently navigating personal responsibilities, problem-solving, and accessing available resources.

  • Develop an awareness of different perspectives and experiences within their community.
  • Recognize and reflect on their personal values, beliefs, and identities.
